The procedure for registering vacant state real estate objects and organizing their effective use has been established

The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 21, 2025 “On measures to organize the inventory of vacant state real estate objects and their effective use” was adopted.

 

The Resolution approved the Regulation “On the procedure for organizing the inventory of vacant state real estate objects and their effective use”.

 

The Resolution also establishes the following:

 

The effective use of state real estate objects and the availability of excess building space will be analyzed and monitored in real time through electronic information exchange with relevant organizations in the “State Property” information system of the State Assets Agency;

 

vacant buildings are included in the privatization program for public auctions first, while state organizations retain the vacant building on the principle of “sell or explain”;

 

buildings that have been vacant for more than three months without agreement with the custodians (social sector facilities in their direction) are put up for electronic online auction on the “E-auksion” electronic trading platform for lease (with the exception of military, special-purpose, unusable and unfinished facilities);

 

Agreements on the free use of state real estate objects, as well as amendments and additions to the concluded agreements on their lease or free use, or their cancellation, are carried out only through the “online-ijara.uz” information system;

 

The Center for the Effective Use of State Property Objects under the State Assets Agency will publish information on the identified vacant buildings on its official website within ten days after the completion of the registration.
